Raymond Blankenhorn is a Brooklyn-based stage director, writer, and dramaturg. He is currently the assistant director and dramaturg of Socrates at The Public Theater. In 2018, he was Regiehospitant with the Schaubühne in Berlin, a member of the Lincoln Center Directors Lab, and a Jonathan Alper Directing Fellow at the Manhattan Theatre Club. Raymond has assisted numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway productions (notably Socrates, Dan Cody’s Yacht, A Doll's House Part 2 and The (*) Inn) and at the Schaubühne (Italian Night, Champignol in Spite of Himself). His original work has been presented by Target Margin Theater, the Arcola Theatre in London, and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He earned his BA in Classics at Oxford University.
